Artemis (or do you still go by Hunter...?) I don't know what sort of subliminal messaging you used but I'm watching Red vs Blue. I actually bought season 3 at a garage sale a while back and... and it's good.

How did this happen? I don't even know anything about Halo or X-box. At all.

*edit* Red vs Blue is probably the funniest thing I've watched in ages. There are fucking tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. It shouldn't be this funny. I've also realized that I'm basically a girl version of Grif.

DC knows that they're doing with all of their animated stuff (minus the "superman of Tokyo" shorts), but GOD DAMMIT they cannot do anything right with their reboot. I think I may have ranted about their awful eight issue run of Static Shock already.  They totally killed the Static title in as little time as possible.

And now they're Killing Captain Marvel. Billy is, like, my favorite Justice League member ever. He's that kid that you just want to pick up and hug and cuddle and adopt as a little brother so you can make him sandwiches. He is just that cute. He's also the most moral person in all of DC.

He is a ray of goodness shining on the darkness of DC and they turned him into an angry, angsty, amoral, asshole of a teenager. Shit, his name isn't even Captain Marvel anymore, it's just Shazam. Technically, that part is probably Disney's fault since they have their whole Mar Vale/Captain Marvel thing. Also his backstory is fucked because of this. There is no Wizard Shazam, no bolt of lighting transformation (instead the lightning will always sort of surround him), and they're forcing him to "learn a lesson" (about being a dick to the world and how that's a bad thing).

And his new character design makes me angry. I feel like this weird teenaged Billy doesn't deserve to wear the red sweater. And "Shazam" freaking looks like he wandered out of Assassins Creed.

I want to punch Geoff Johns in the face and then tell him why I think his writing is shit loudly enough for everybody in the vicinity to hear. This abomination is proof that there is no god.

I actually don't know If I've posted anything about Effie on here. She's one of the main characters from my novel(s?) I'm working on, Black Water. All of the answers are set pre-revelation because I don't want her all renegade/depressed even though I like writing her that way.

2. What is your favorite thing to eat?
There's this, like, pudding stuff that Ashley* makes sometimes. He's always complaining about how it's not "authentic" because we don't have some of the ingredients here, but he makes it anyway. It's the only time he'll tell us about his home and it is fantastically delicious.

3. What was your childhood/upbringing like?
There's this stereotype about single children, like it's a problem. I was a single child and my personality problems come from things that happened, uh, post childhood. I grew up in a city and my parents were great. I don't really know what else there is.

4. Who do you like the most?
Oh my goodness, that's a hard question. Jake is definitely at the top of my list. But out of living people, Fern is my best friend definitely.

5. What are you afraid of?
I- I have a fear of aging but not dying. Like, if I can't kill myself... and I'm still aging could I actually die of old age? Or could I get cancer and just be stuck in pain forever?

6. What makes you truly smile
Zack. He's such a cute kid and he's come so far since the incident***. He's able to get all the way through the battle sims without hesitating now! And he likes helping around the base. It's like we've all adopted him officially.

7. What kind of weapon do you use, if applicable?
I use a lot of weapons! I can't really die, so I'm pretty proficient with a lot of, uh, fighting...stuff. Tuya doesn't have to worry about going soft on me or anything! Recently I've been forced to use guns. Fern says I should rotate, though, because it's best I keep the demons "on their toes". Like, apparently they can't predict me as well as the others because I'm always switching.

8. What's the worst skeleton in your closet?
I... I don't really trust Fern. He's not going to see this is he? I mean, he's a great friend, but sometimes I just... feel like his decisions aren't the best. He's always giving Ashley pills and injections and none of us really know what they are. They keep him from killing us, but what if they have awful side effects or make him sick? And he left Aiden and Aislin in the void. I know they're dangerous, but they've been there for almost five years. I just... he says nice things and don't believe them. I wish I did, but...

9. What would you do if you found an abandoned infant (of your species or otherwise)?
I'm sure Fern would be able to help find him a home. You can't just leave a child to die!

10. Do you consider yourself good, evil, or neutral?
Oh, I'm definitely part of the good team. We keep the world safe from Demons, so we can't be bad. ... I guess we do use some tactics that aren't very nice and we aren't really above killing, though. I mean, Zack's killed people- I mean, demons- and he's only ten.

This is one of those topics I could rant about for ages (and occasionally do), but I'll attempt to keep this short.

Toonami was a big part of my childhood. It introduced me to anime, awesome theme music, and robots. Every day for nearly two years I got home from school and turned on Cartoon Network before even thinking of doing homework. I loved that station hardcore. And then it started playing nothing but Naruto re-runs, which, along with the weird changes to Toonami Tom, is what eventually killed it. To put this into perspective, the death of Toonami actually managed to unify all of 4chan for a day.

After Toonami ended I switched to watching Adult swim. I didn't really bother watching anything CN played until Young Justice and Thunder Cats. Seriously, those shows are bomb. So, good shows have finally started playing on Cartoon Network, that actually isn't Cartoon Network anymore now that it plays live action shows, and they're given weird hours and hiatuses. Seriously, what the hell? Young Justice was given a six month hiatus and then isn't having the Christmas episode (or anything past it) air until February. That would kill a lesser show.

I keep losing respect for a station that I really want to like. It's frustrating.

That's exactly what I did. I joined a majorly popular fandom and am addicted to it.

Originally I had a big long speil about how I managed to fall in love with something I was sure I'd hate, and then I decided to give a generic list of stuff I like about the thing I thought I'd hate, and then I freaked out about some stuff that only sort of relates to the subject.

The bottom line is that hating a series because of its' fanbase it silly. No matter how many weaboos troll the forums (much more literally in the HS fanbase I would guess) you have to look past them.

Also Homestuck is awesome if you can get past the first couple hundred pages. The plot will eventually draw you in, so go read it now.
